BBQ Dinner to Raise Funds for Haiti Earthquake Relief

We will be having a BBQ dinner at the church on this Saturday (Jan. 23) from 11:00AM – 2:00 PM. All proceeds will go to International Missions Outreach to provide earthquake relief in Haiti. Missionaries John and Joyce Hanson have been living and working in Haiti for over 30 years.
Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy good food, fellowship, and help our neighbors in Haiti.
The menu consists of barbecue chicken or hamburger, baked beans, potato salad, roll, drink and dessert. Price of meal is on a donation basis. All proceeds will be used for earthquake relief in Haiti.
New Schedule
January 2, 2010
Please note that we have changed our Sunday morning schedule of services. Starting Sunday January 3, we will begin our worship service at 10:30 AM. Calvary Kids Church will also begin at 10:30 AM downstairs. For those who can come at 10:00 AM there will be a prayer meeting in the sanctuary before the morning service.
Our Sunday night service and Wednesday night service times will remain the same at 7:00PM.

I hope you like the new design of our website. Thanks to Matthew Block for the new design as well as Rebecca Block (Pure Captures) for the photography. Please note that we have a new address for this website: CalvaryForsyth.org . However, our older name, ChurchHouse.com will still work also for the present time.
Let me give a few words of explanation about the new features on this site.
- Under this section, (Video/Blog) , will be Blog (short for weblog) posts. (You are reading the first blog post right now) . Some of these Blog posts will include the weekly videos of the preaching from Sunday services. (You can see several past videos posted immediately below this post.)
- Other blog posts may include general information, messages, or updates, including pictures of events, etc. Each new post will be placed at the top of this page, while the previous blog posts move down the page.
- You may also notice on the right side of this page is a listing of Categories . If you want to see only the video posts, you can click on the category called "Message Videos ."
- To see just the general posts about events, etc, click on the category called "Events/Updates ."
- Under the listing of Archives , you can access the archived Blog posts for the previous months.
In a future post, I’ll give you information about how to subscribe if you wish to automatically receive updates to the blog when they become available and also the option to subscribe to both video and audio podcasts. But for now, take some time to look around, familiarize yourself, and enjoy our new format.
