What We Believe
What we believe about God and what we believe the Scriptures teach are vitally important and foundational to our church. See our "Statement of Faith" for a detailed list of beliefs that you can expect the leaders in the church to communicate. We also agree with the saying, "In Essentials Unity, In Non-Essentials Liberty, In All Things Charity."
We welcome and embrace all who believe in and follow the Lord Jesus Christ, whether or not they can affirm every article of faith in our statement. We welcome and embrace all who are still searching for spiritual truth and have not yet acknowledged Jesus as Lord and Savior. The purpose of our declaration of doctrinal beliefs is to make known where Calvary Full Gospel Church stands on issues of supreme importance to Christian faith and life.
What to Expect
When you attend one of our services you can expect there to be singing, scripture reading, preaching and teaching, and a prayer time. At the moment we are a small, but growing church, in the process of revitalizing the church and getting back to the basics. For answers to frequently asked questions visit the "FAQ page." Our Mission
The great commission given by Jesus before He ascended to heaven is our mission. We do this by discipling through the preaching and teaching of God's word and through reaching out to the community around us. We support missionaries in Haiti through International Missions Outreach and we support the spread of the Gospel to the inner city of Houston through "Youth With A Mission (YWAM). If you want to join us on this mission, contact Pastor Mark, as we regularly have opportunities to volunteer and serve within the church (such as musicians, singers, helpers, greeters, etc.).
